Had dinner, went to lab, spend about 2 hours there.
Left at about 2am. But then decided to play cricket behind Hamershlag hall.
First it was just Jigar and me. Then at about 3am Anvesh, Kush and Sudeep joined.
We were playing till 5:30am. It was freaking awesome!
Played two games (4 overs each). Kush and me in one team, Avnesh and Jigar in another with Sudeep as batting jack.
First game bowled first. Set target of 18, make it comfortably (Kush and Sudeep bat).
Second game bat first (Kush and me bat). Set target of 40 to win for Anvesh/Jigar.
First over 3rd or 4th ball I was bowling, Anvesh hits straight into the hands of Jigar (the batsman not batting was fielding for the other team). One down with 2 runs or so on the board. Next over Kush plucks a stunner hit right back at him by Jigar. We let Manne bat again. 3rd over I bowl, he swings at every ball, doesn’t connect one also properly! Awesome stuff. We beat them by 30 or so runs.
Start playing box-cricket. First match, get out at 0, I think Kush wins. Second match make 20, I win, Anvesh comes close. Third match make 36, win again, Kush comes close this time.
So much fun! Now to get some sleep and start working on 766 in the morning.

The Times of India wanted to show how there are two faces to the current India. One is the India that is progressing really fast, emerging as the leader in various industries, the other India is however still where it was at the time of independence. They are calling out to us to help bring the second India to where the first is. Below is one of the video campaigns that was released for this.


Amitabh Bachan is simply brilliant in the video, and I think he is the most suitable person to be an ambassador for India.

But this break was very different… Saurabh visited Bombay for four days… had loads of fun with him… traveled from one end of the city to the other… must have driven about 600 kms in those four days… ate like there was no tomorrow… had loads of paan… then he left… started meeting friends and family… met up with jai hind classmates after like 3 and a half years… was nice seeing them… finally sold my dreaded N91 and got myself a Sony Ericsson k610i… and then had the worst travel experience of my life!
Left from Bombay at 2.40am on a BA flight to London… Flight got delayed a bit so my wait at the airport was shortened to an hour, thus my luggage wasn’t transferred… Get onto that flight… and that reaches JFK late as well, my luggage doesn’t arrive and I miss my connection to Pittsburgh… the next flight out to Pittsburgh is after 6 hours… so wait 6 hours at jfk airport… then get onto my flight… which takes off at 6.05pm and I instantly fall asleep (considering I am very tired)… and next thing I know we have just landed in Pittsburgh and the air-hostess announces, “The local time in Pittsburgh is 9.05pm”. Now wait, when taking off she told us the time in the air is an hour and seven minutes, but it took us three hours?!?!?!? I just got my stuff together, got to campus and was relieved that the journey was finally over!
Classes started Monday… So far they’ve been pretty good… It will be a busy semester as usual… Something to look forward to…

Had a blast! Went around to a lot of places, ate way too much food, go-karted, bowled, and drove my car a lot in Bombay traffic! Didn’t get caught by the pandu at all. Then left Saurabh at his bhua’s place yesterday afternoon and was returning from there. Came out of a one-way (that I didn’t know was a one-way), and the pandu was there to catch me, and now I have to go get my license from police station. After that I drove back from Tulsi-pipe road and one of the fly-overs there were cops again, with speed guns! Official speed limit was 50 kmph, I was obviously going more than that! So all in all a bad day to drive. Won’t be driving the car anytime soon!

haven’t done so much work in any semester, haven’t enjoyed this much in any semester, haven’t been getting sick as often in any semester either…
Been designing this really cool game for one of my classes (Virtual Reality Pac-man)…
Can’t wait to get back home though… three weeks…
And saurabh’s coming to B’bay for a few days as well…
